AFI Fall Tour 2025
w/ TR/ST, AFI
The legendary AFI brought their Fall 2025 Tour to The Fillmore Philadelphia, filling the venue with dark, emotional energy that reminded everyone why they’ve remained icons in alternative music. Accompanying them on this run was TR/ST, whose unique brand of atmospheric electronic music created the perfect mood to set the night in motion.
TR/ST opened with a hypnotic set filled with pulsing beats, immersive lighting, and haunting vocals. The performance drew the audience in, wrapping the room in a haze of electronic sound and emotion. It was an otherworldly start that built anticipation for what was to come.
When the lights dimmed again, a wave of cheers echoed through The Fillmore as AFI took the stage. The crowd’s energy immediately surged decades of fandom and anticipation colliding in one collective moment. From the first note, frontman Davey Havok owned the stage with magnetic intensity. His stage presence, movements, and connection with the audience were reminiscent of Marianas Trench’s Josh Ramsay, both artists known for their dramatic flair and emotional delivery.
The band’s performance was a masterclass in showmanship. Jade Puget’s guitar work was sharp and expressive, while Hunter Burgan and Adam Carson drove the rhythm section with power and precision. Together, the four musicians created a sound that was both raw and polished blending their punk roots with dark, cinematic undertones that filled every corner of the room.
Throughout the night, the crowd was completely engaged, singing, jumping, and feeding off every ounce of energy the band gave. There was a powerful connection between the audience and the stage a shared appreciation built from years of music that’s inspired, comforted, and empowered so many.
As the night came to a close, Havok took a moment to thank the fans, his words heartfelt and sincere. It was clear this wasn’t just another stop on tour; it was a reunion of passion, art, and the enduring bond between AFI and their listeners.
The Fillmore’s walls seemed to hum long after the final note faded a reminder of a night where timeless artistry and pure emotion collided. AFI once again proved why they continue to captivate audiences year after year, delivering a show that was powerful, theatrical, and unforgettable.
