Idobi Summer School Tour

Opener: Twist It, Chase Petra, South Arcade, Games We Play, Winona Fighter
Headliner: Honey Revenge

The Summer School tour made its stop in Allentown, PA, and it brought a stacked lineup with it — Chase Petra, South Arcade, Games We Play, Winona Fighter, and Honey Revenge all shared the stage that night. One of the coolest parts of this tour is that every single stop features a local band or artist from that city, and for Allentown, that honor went to Twist It, a three-piece out of Philadelphia who opened the show.

Twist It came on stage ready to knock it out of the park. Coming off a month-long tour with Red, the band wasn't just ready to play, they were ready to prove something, and they delivered from the first note. The three-piece lineup features powerhouse vocalist Kayla Hallman, founder and drummer Sara Higgins holding everything together from behind the kit, and guitarist Logan Smith filling out the sound. Watching them, it was clear this wasn't their first big stage, and it definitely won't be their last.

Chase Petra came on next, and I'll admit I wasn't familiar with them going in. That changed fast. Vocalist Hunter Allen has this ability to hit high notes while still keeping her voice full of depth and volume, all without losing an ounce of clarity or power. It's the kind of voice that makes you stop scrolling your phone and actually watch the stage, and by the end of their set, I was hooked.

South Arcade came out ready to rock hard, and they didn't let up. Between the humorous banter they kept up with the crowd and with each other, these lads from Oxford, England had the whole room in the palm of their hands. This was also the part of the night where the crowd surfing really picked up, with bodies going up over the barricade one after another as South Arcade kept the energy climbing.

Games We Play took the stage next, keeping the momentum going and giving the crowd another set to move to before the night's final acts.

Winona Fighter took the stage next, and this band just oozes intensity. Lead singer Chloe Kinnon leaves absolutely everything out on that stage. Between her acrobatics, her stamina, and her ability to keep her voice locked in and powerful through it all, she doesn't hold anything back, and neither does the crowd watching her.

The headliner, Honey Revenge, closed out the night. They're the only band on this tour that also played the very first run of Summer School three years ago, and you could feel that history in their set. They played a slew of fan favorites alongside new songs, giving longtime fans something familiar to sing along to while introducing newer fans to what's coming next.
